Doing Things Differently – On Purpose

Freedom, alignment, and small course corrections.

I’ve loved having the opportunity to pause and take stock this month.

With fewer workshops and more time working behind the scenes, I’ve been noticing where things feel aligned – and where they don’t. It’s been a month of small course corrections, quiet reminders, and a return to what really matters: paying attention to what I truly value.

A Reminder from My Own Values

One of my core values is freedom. And ironically, this month, I was feeling the complete opposite. With fewer workshops and lots of time spent building out a new coaching programme (more on that soon!), I found myself chained to my desk for far too long – working late, staring at a screen, and quite honestly feeling more drained than inspired. Being a tough taskmaster with myself is an old pattern… or so I thought.

Thankfully, I caught it. I got curious and realised I was out of alignment. The work itself mattered, but the way I was doing it didn’t feel right.

So I made a small change, I packed up my laptop and drove to Bradford, a city I’ve barely explored, even though it’s only 35 minutes away. It’s this year’s City of Culture, and I figured it was time to leave my desk behind and give myself permission to feel inspired.

I ended up working from the Waterstones café, inside the old Wool Exchange building. It’s stunning – high ceilings, loads of light, full of character. That simple change of scene made a big difference. I felt free and totally inspired, and my day (and my work) was so much better for it.

I’ll definitely be doing that more often.

Creating from Community

This month, Cazzie and I also hosted our first online PSYCH-K® event day – Create Your Vision, themed around abundance. We created a workbook to go alongside it and held space for a beautiful group from our community to delve into their vision using PSYCH-K®. It was really rewarding to bring the idea to life, and we learned a lot in the process. If there’s interest, we’ll likely run more in future. It’s all about supporting those who’ve attended a workshop to keep using the PSYCH-K® process regularly.

We also started a series of community Zoom calls in response to something I’ve been hearing a lot lately: “With everything going on in the world – war, conflict, suffering – what can I possibly do that would make a difference?”

I’d been sitting with the same question. Then, while working daily with PSYCH-K® protocols that support the evolution of consciousness, a few things aligned, and I felt a strong nudge to bring people together around the theme of ‘Cultivating Peace.’

Our first call was really powerful. We explored where peace truly begins – within ourselves:

  • In our bodies, where we feel flow, and where there’s tension, stress or inner conflict.
  • In our relationships, where there’s connection, and where things feel off.
  • In our communities, where we collaborate, and where we might feel stuck in comparison.
  • In our relationship with nature, whether we feel part of it or disconnected from it.

We’ll be continuing these calls over the next few weeks. They feel timely and deeply needed. As a group, we acknowledged how blessed we are to have a process to support us to step into service in a bigger picture way, to support global evolution and to cultivate peace. If you’ve attended a PSYCH-K® workshop and would like to know more, or you feel a pull to join us, just reach out, and I can share the dates we’ve scheduled.

Final Thoughts:

As you read this, you might like to take a moment to check in with yourself:

  • Where, if anywhere, are things feeling a little out of alignment right now?
  • What’s one simple change that could make a meaningful difference to how your day feels?
  • And where could you create just a little more peace – in your body, your relationships, or your environment – that might ripple out to those around you?

This month’s gift for me was that small micro changes can often create the most surprising impact!

So that’s this past month in a nutshell. A mix of reflection, new creations, and realignment with what really matters to me.

Thanks for reading – and for being part of this work.

With Peace, love, and light,

Sharon xo
