April – Planting Seeds
Planting Seeds (The Quiet Kind)
I stepped out into the garden the other day and spotted them, those first tiny signs that spring is quietly doing its thing. Little shoots, barely there, just starting to stretch.
It made me smile. Not because it was dramatic (it wasn’t), but because of the reminder: this is how it all begins.
Not with a fanfare. Not with everything figured out. Just a quiet start. A small gesture in the right direction.
This time of year always feels like an invitation. Not to push, but to plant. To ask the question gently – what wants to grow now?
Not what should I be doing. Not what’s most strategic or efficient.
But what feels ready?
For me, it’s been less about chasing something new and more about coming back to what’s already here. What I care about. What I want to give more of my time and energy to.
Maybe it’s the same for you. Or maybe there’s a project, habit, or part of your work or life that’s been tapping on your shoulder for a while now, waiting for a little sunlight.
So here are a few gentle prompts to help things take shape:
- What’s one part of your work that’s ready to stretch or evolve?
- What would feel good to begin, even if it’s just in a small way?
- And what’s one thing, simple, doable – that you could do today to plant that seed?
No pressure to get it all right. Seeds don’t ask for perfection, just a bit of care.
And if it helps, I’ve created a little action sheet to guide you through it – nothing fancy, just a few pages to help you get clear and begin.

If you already use PSYCH-K®, these questions are also perfect for creating new Goal Statements. An example might be, “I trust that small steps lead to meaningful change,” or “My growth is gentle and aligned and happens naturally.” You know that statements you create, that are meaningful to you, are the best to use.
There’s something powerful about aligning your inner beliefs with the season you’re in. Especially when that season is all about gentle beginnings.
So if there’s a seed you’re holding – plant it. You don’t have to know how it’ll grow. Just begin.
With love,

A Year of Reflection, Growth and Alignment
This post is part of Inspired by Nature – a year of exploring how the seasons can help us reconnect with ourselves and our work. It’s not a programme or a course. Just a slow unfolding. A quiet invitation to pay attention and re-centre.
Each month, I’ll share some reflections, seasonal themes, and a few gentle nudges to help you pause and check in on what really matters. Whether you’re a facilitator, therapist, coach, or just someone doing the inner work, I hope it offers you a bit of breathing space.
Nature doesn’t rush. And neither do we.
