PSYCH-K® Featured in The Independent
I’m delighted to share that The Independent recently featured PSYCH-K® in an in-depth article exploring the power of the subconscious mind, and I was honoured to be mentioned by name.
The piece, written by journalist Hannah Ewens, takes readers on a journey into the often-misunderstood territory of the subconscious. It weaves together insights from neuroscientists, psychologists, and practitioners, alongside Hannah’s own experiences of trying different methods designed to influence subconscious beliefs. From visualisations and tapping, to hypnosis and journaling, she explores the growing interest in how our inner “programming” affects our wellbeing, relationships, and success.
As part of her exploration, Hannah attended a PSYCH-K® Basic Workshop In-Person, which I co-taught with fellow instructor Cazzie Dare. She described her experience of learning the process, from muscle testing and whole-brain integration, to creating new beliefs that align with what we want to experience in life. Importantly, she highlighted a key point: that PSYCH-K® isn’t about chasing quick fixes, but about gently identifying where life feels out of balance and creating supportive, sustainable change at the subconscious level.
For me, seeing PSYCH-K® highlighted in a national publication is more than just a professional milestone. It represents something bigger: that conversations about the subconscious mind – once considered fringe or “alternative” – are finding their way into mainstream awareness. While neuroscience is still catching up with many of these approaches, what’s becoming clear is that people are hungry for safe, practical, and empowering ways to change the beliefs that quietly shape their lives.
